The Emerging Tech Conference Edge Intelligence (ETCEI 2025) took place on 24–25 October in Athens. The event was organized by the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) with the primary goal of showcasing the synergies and outcomes arising from the collaboration between academic and research institutions and entrepreneurial entities in the field of cutting-edge technologies.

Dr. Dionysia Varvarigou presented a poster entitled “Securing the 5G Ecosystem: Real-Time Risk Management from Core to Edge” (by Dr. Dionysia Varvarigou, Dr. Kostas Lampropoulos, Prof. Spyros Denazis, and Prof. Paris Kitsos). The poster outlined an important extension of the SAND5G security concept to Edge Computing.

The event significantly increased SAND5G’s visibility among both academia and industry, leading to the formation of several promising business connections that could foster future collaborations.
