We’re excited to share the success of the interactive workshop “Think Before You Click! To Hackers, the Easiest Target is You!”, held on May 17th at the University of Patras Conference Center as part of TEDxPatras 2025.
Led by George Daniil and Nikolas Filippatos, Cybersecurity Research Associates at the University of Patras , the session helped attendees better understand everyday online risks and how to stay safe through simple, smart actions. Real-life examples and practical tips made the experience both engaging and informative.
The event was supported by the SAND5G Project, alongside the CURIUM and CUSTODES projects – highlighting strong collaboration among EU-funded initiatives to promote cybersecurity awareness and digital resilience.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore an interactive booth hosted by p-NET Emerging Networks & Vertical Applications, where they could learn more about EU cybersecurity efforts. Informational flyers from the SAND5G Project were shared with interested attendees.
A big thank you to TEDxPatras for providing a platform for these important discussions under this year’s theme, OnceUponTomorrow – and to everyone who contributed to making the workshop a success!
